Superior
Production
Great
instruction means very little if you can't see exactly what's going
on back there. So to ensure that the viewer would have a front row
seat to everything that Bobby demonstrates, The Zen of Drumming
production features five individual camera angles! This enabled
the production crew to have one camera on his elaborate 9-pedal set-up
and one overhead at all times, while the remaining three cameras could
rove, pan and hover accordingly to capture all of the action.
Then,
in post-production, the video was painstakingly edited over multiple
weeks to ensure that the most important angles were presented on a
moment-to-moment basis, employing split-screen technology when it
was important to view from two or more angles simultaneously. The
result is a thoroughly covered presentation that leaves nothing to
the imagination; you can see it all!
